The ‘Remembering Monsoon Revolution’ program by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs is an exciting initiative aimed at commemorating the July Uprising of Students and People. Eight talented film directors have been selected to lead workshops and create medium-length films in eight divisions of Bangladesh. Sumon Rahman, a member of the search committee, announced the names at a press conference held at the Cultural Affairs Ministry.
Adviser to the Cultural Affairs Ministry, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, emphasized the importance of selecting directors who have demonstrated passion and creativity in their work. He mentioned that the focus was not on the quantity of their work but on the quality and impact of their contributions. The selected directors are aware of the significance of this project and are committed to delivering meaningful and impactful films.
