Za ‘n Zee Hosts Inter-University VR Cricket Challenge

One of the most popular ice cream brands in the country, Za ‘n Zee, recently organized an exciting Inter-University Virtual Reality (VR) Cricket Challenge, bringing together students from universities across the nation for a unique and competitive experience.
The first phase of the tournament took place at 10 different universities throughout the country, where participants faced off in a series of VR cricket matches. The tournament culminated in the final round held on Thursday at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), where the top competitors battled for the championship.
After a series of intense quarterfinal, semifinal, and final rounds, the winners were crowned. Md Anam Khan Efan from Shanto-Mariam University of Creative Technology emerged as the champion of the tournament, taking home a cash prize of Tk 50,000. The first runner-up was Zahidul Kabir Pathan Efti from Uttara University, who received a prize of Tk 30,000, while the second runner-up, Sawgat Nur from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, earned a prize of Tk 20,000.
The tournament finale was attended by a number of prominent figures, including Tanvir Haider Chaudhury, CEO of Kazi Food Industries Limited, and other senior officials from the company, including Syed Mohidul Hossain, Head of Sales, and Rajib Saha, Head of Marketing. Prof. Dr. Md. Ashraful Hoque, Vice Chancellor of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, was also present at the event.
The VR Cricket Challenge provided a thrilling and innovative platform for students to showcase their gaming skills while highlighting the growing popularity of virtual reality in sports and entertainment. Za ‘n Zee’s initiative not only brought students together in a fun and engaging way but also offered a glimpse into the future of interactive sports competitions.
